Aromas

I was buggered today..the whisky..the late night..had to get up early to go grab her school uniform..then went to the shop to grab the books to return to the library...it is still sitting in my car...was due back today...

then took the kids to Box Hill to have lunch and to do some grocery shopping..we took the train as trying to find a car park on Saturdays is horrendous..not to mention the week before Tet..

I ended up buying a  shopping trolley to house our stuff..got to make  sushi for M's party tomorrow ..

by the time we have dropped off the dumplings for hubby...I was so tired that I napped with my head on the dispensing bench...hubby said go home and have a proper nap...I will get the meat for the roast...

came home...popped the trolley in the house and I crashed..didn't get up till 6pm...heard the back door closed...thought jeez hubby is very late considering it was Saturday..

then my senses awakened...aromas of roast...hubby have been busy...came down to see him already crackled the roast..roast half cooked...pumpkin, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots all roasted...

all I had to do was assemble the salad..make the gravy...and dinner was done...he has even bought berries to have with ice cream for dessert...

I felt very spoilt...it is nice that he takes the intiative and cook..rather than before where dinners were left up to me to organise..

I thanked him with kisses and hugs..and he was like ...does that mean that I will be getting something special tonight? ...lol...

at this rate his little wifey will be walking around like a duck with her butts poked out...
