Yes hubby and me..it is wonder that we have lasted this long..one of his friends Bao gave us 3 months when we first went out together..lol..he ended up shouting us to a seafood dinner years after for losing that bet..
He wanted to go to Canberra as a spur of minute thingy..so he's been at it since Jan..but because I had work commitments we couldn't go..so Australia day was off..because T wanted time off then..next was Labour day..that was no good since I thought I was rostered to work that weekend..which left Easter with the extra day off on Tuesday..lol..
which was fine enough ..I ended up asking work to have Easter off..and he'd asked his T to work for him..then came the conflict..Mr free as a bird wanted to just take off and go...his words were ..we will be driving so all we need is a few change of clothes and off we go..no need to book hotels..when we get there we can just look around and find one ..
his other idea was that since he's working Easter Saturday, he would like to have a couple of hours of sleep and start driving at midnight to get there on Sunday morning..lol..
my idea is that I would book a place so that we have somewhere to stay..being Easter and all there might not be vacancies...to that he replied..no one would want to go to Canberra..what are you so worried about?? lol..
I wanted to leave straight after he finishes work..ie 2-3pm...which means we will reach Canberra about 10-11pm..have a good night sleep and then we don't waste Sunday...as we have to start driving back Tuesday...which leaves only Sunday, Monday and part of Tuesday..told him if he is tired then I will help him drive part of the way..
in the end I did some research and have booked 3 nights ..if it was just us we could sleep in the car for all I care..lol..we have done that before..but not with 3 kids..it is just not on...lol..
why is it that we are always like two bulls about to lock horns?? or is that what marriage is all about? locking horns? lol..
