1 Hour

It took me 1 whole hour to do school drop offs this morning...I came home with three less kids and three times the blood pressure I started with.. 

At 8am the front of our house was already bumper to bumper...to get out I had to cut across the nature strip and go the back way...through the estate to get to the local primary school...wasn't too bad...

After watching them walk safely up the slope to the canteen where the before school care is I continue on ..to drop the oldest off...and that was when my nightmare began...we did okie until near the entrance of the freeway...bumper to bumper with a set of traffic lights hindering our turn...

We must have sat at the lights for a good 5 minutes before we could turn onto the freeway...then it is bumper to bumper until I could get off Doncaster road...decided to to backwards into Union Rd and then into Mont Albert..

Dropped her off around 836am...she had 9 minutes to walk...and I started heading back...since I was nearer to Burke Rd I took that way thinking I do not have to get on the freeway again...as I will be inbound...a big big mistake...bumper to bumper all through Mont Albert...as it is only one lane either way...then Burke Rd...made even worse with trams and  40kph school zones.. 

After the assault to my already flat as a pancake butt..I got home to find the entrance to our service road blocked by cars...I nearly beeped when they wouldn't stop to let me in...not that the cars had anywhere to go...it was still bumper to bumper...

Already dreading tomorrow...only another few days to go...can't wait till I am back in Geelong where one have the whole pavement to oneself...where one does not even have to press to cross the streets... ..
