Gonna be a code tonight...
Lactulose 30ml 3x a day (usually 10-20ml twice a day is sufficient)
Microlax enema 2 3x a day (usually 1 enema is enough)
Went up to the ward to ask what the hell was going on...apparently she must have nagged him too many times about her bowels...well after this she would never ever nag him again...
asked the NUM (nurse unit manager) and she replied..that is what he wants until she opens her bowels...
ummmm waiting to see what happens tomorrow...there is going to be a code brown tonight.
code brown=external disaster= natural disaster= faecal incontinence...hehehe
