My husband have decided that it was time our daughter got some tutoring..so that she can sit for the entrance exam to my old school..MacRob...it is a selective school ..top school of Victoria..for their VCE scores top all scores..

He's been against tutoring ever since they were little...while their cousins, nieces and nephews attended tutoring since prep...ours played...

we have always wanted all rounded kids..not just straight As kids..and they are just that...Bo love his Taekwondo...B her drawing...and S her softball..piano..trombone..

What must have changed his mind was the presentation night last year...Sab won an award for the Arts..while others won academic ones..

Thus he sent her to tutoring with her best friend SW from primary school..SW have been going for years..

On her first day she did a test and got 15/50...on the way home he asked her how come? she replied SW got good genes..her dad is a scientist...that was her excuse...her dad rolled his eyes...what about me?? for over here to get into science one does not need as high a score as to get into pharmacy...lol..

Her grandma asked her why MacRob? is it because your mum made you go for it?? Sab replied no...mum is actually against it...I want to do the exam...

To me it would be great if she got in..but then again her school is a good school..and it doesn't really matter ...what matters is that she is happy...

I know what MacRob is like..they push you to be the best that you can...the girls are very smart..creme da la creme of the state..and of course very competitive..MacRob is not what it used to be..it is mostly Asian now..not like before..


I don't want her to get hurt..when you are smart there are others smarter than you..but then and again I don't want to lose her..

I have filled out the application for the exam for her...all done...cho nó thử sức ..no harm...just hope she gets in...

went over to my parents..my mum...what's the point..con gái học cho lắm cũng đi lấy chồng ..cũng ở nhà ..

I don't share her sentiments...the point is..lấy chồng ..có thể giúp đỡ chồng ..không làm gánh nặng ..chồng không khinh rẻ ..
